3 Questions to start your day!!!

1. What makes you happy at home?
2. Find 3 things you’re grateful for today.
3. How can I help someone?

Here are a few tips you may already be doing or want readily available

1. Avoid listening, reading or watching the news continuously throughout the day – have a set time for accessing this information to the morning, afternoon or evening.
2. Discussing the news and updates with friends via telephone, video chat etc.
3. Listen to music radio stations, You Tube music, Podcasts if it becomes too quiet.
4. Be accountable to someone. Have a relative or friend to contact daily. Arrange set times to touch base, share discussions about the day, use social media group chat to forward jokes, videos etc.
5. Organised your day. This can coincide with those you are accountable. Include exercise, cooking, education, DIY, puzzles are just some activities to get you started. You may want to circulate your hybrid rota to friends and families.
6. Be observant for the elderly or those with mental health issues who may benefit from you adding them to your daily routine – checking if they are ok or may just want to have a chat.
**Do set a time, how long you will be talking to them and how frequent you can offer your time.**
