Truth, what does that mean for you?

According to Google’s dictionary truth is “a fact or belief that is accepted as true”.

I know you must be asking yourself what is she on! Wait, I’ll tell you, so bear with me if you will.

With the most popular word being discussed in all circles ‘Corona Virus’ or ‘Covid-19’ at the moment the mind wonders, what will our so called World actually look like, once it’s safe to return to ‘normal’ there, I said it ‘NORMAL’.

There is no more normal now or what’s your understanding of normal? I have thoughts of how many people will have died, how many will have mental health issues, be sanctioned or even placed in jail.

How many more women, children with a small proportion of men will have been abused in their own homes?

So, what will our Society really look like?

Based on this, I would ask you truthfully ‘How are you’? No ‘How are you really’?

As fear encamps around us it’s like a thousand strong army that spreads as wide as the sky and creeps up on the inside of you like the mist in the photo below, it’s that unwanted guest refusing to move or leave from your Tower (castle, house or flat) which, fails to keep you safe.

Do you know what the Bible says about fear?

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

After a while it begins to stain and imprints on every surface it touches, an indentation is left. If you stand back and what it move, you could easily mistake it for ‘sea anemone’. Slowly devouring away at your very soul, your spirit that houses your faith.

“Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”.

Your distractions are whatever social media App, you tune into, hoping it will remove thoughts of what is come. A world of the unknown!

It’s a demon trying to rid you of all your beliefs, the news, your phone the TV.

Don’t read it unless for simple information, don’t let the poison seep through your veins, arteries, stomach, every cell in your body. Yes, adhere to the guidelines the Word tells you this

“Romans 13:1-2 says: “Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power…”

So do wash your hands regularly, stay inside and not just because it’s raining! I say meditate, read your Bible if you have one, NO you do not need to be a follower of Christ to read it.

Try with all your might to focus on the positive things in life, i.e. did you wake up this morning? If so, then surely there must be something you can be grateful for.

However, if there isn’t how can I help you change this?

Acts 3:6 New International Version (NIV) 6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” You may be absolutely fine walking but what else is debilitating you?

If your question or statement is you have tried everything then my question to you is “what do you have to lose” by asking in prayer, don’t make prayer a massive issue, it’s a dialogue between you and God. Test it –

Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Not convinced yet then “Matthew 21:22 and whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Hence, to my initial statement at the beginning of this was truth!

So finally, I ask you, “How are you, How are you really?

May the Creator of the Universe, Alpha and Omega, Elohim, Yahweh, Jehovah, Father, Lord of Lords, whichever name you use continues to keep and bless you always.
